1 Day. Ashgabat International Airport
Meeting with local guides at Ashgabat International Airport. Transfer to hotel. After lunch, the tour begins with a visit to the horse-riding to meet the pride of the Turkmen people - the Ahal-Teke horses. Traditional, tea break, short show program of Akhal-Teke horses and inspection of stables. Return to Ashgabat. Evening city tour - visiting major tourist attractions.
2 Day. Darvaza
After breakfast, you will visit the Carpet Museum. After lunch between 14:00 and 15:00, overnight stay in tents at Derveze gas crater, located north of Ashgabat in northern Turkmenistan, to admire the stunning views of the gas crater before and after sunset.
3 Day. Koneurgench
After breakfast, we will go to the architectural monuments of Konya, the capital of Khorezm in the X-XII centuries. On the tour, they will visit Nejmed-Din al-Kubra, Turabekhanum, Il-Arslan, the tallest minaret in Central Asia, the mausoleum of Kutlyg Timur. From 19.50 to 08.40, he will take the Dashoguz-Ashgabat train to the suburban railway station.
4 Day. Old Nisa
After breakfast, visit "Gypjak" mosque and the mausoleum of the first president of Turkmenistan, then "Ancient Nisa" (UNESCO site). We will continue our visit to the State History Museum, where ancient artifacts found during excavations in Nisa, Merv and Gonurdepe, a collection of ancient Turkmen carpets, rare examples of national clothes, jewelry and ancient weapons are kept. Hall 9 includes statuettes of Athena, Eros, silver griffin, Parthian ivory horn-shaped rhyton bowls, gold jewelry, Margiana medals and Buddha statues, as well as 270,000,000-year-old Paleozoic tree fossils, dinosaur footprints. You'll see the 820-kilogram meteorite that fell into the Old Town in 1998 and several other exhibits.
5 Day. Gulistan bazar
At 09:00 you will visit the Gulistan Bazaar (Russian Bazaar). After lunch, transfer to Mary. Hotel accommodation.
6 Day. Old Merv
After breakfast, we will travel to Old Merv. Merv was at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road and soon became one of the largest cities in the ancient world. On the tour, you will visit Gyz Castle, Erk Castle, Sultan Castle, Sanjar Mausoleum, Ibn Zeid's Mausoleum, the 5th center of civilization - the Ancient Margush country in the Karakum Desert. Then you will visit the museum in Mary. After lunch you will arrive in Ashgabat. You will be checked into the Mary Hotel.
7 Day. Ashgabat International Airport
Transfer to Ashgabat International Airport for your flight.
